Our mission was to significantly enhance the club’s energy efficiency and reduce their carbon footprint through the installation of advanced Air Source Heat Pumps, Solar PV, and Battery Storage systems. Sustainable Solutions Implemented
- Air Source Heat Pumps:
- 2 x 30kW ASHPs
- Utilizes ambient air to provide efficient heating and cooling.
- Reduces dependency on fossil fuels, lowering energy bills and emissions.
- Full heating system upgraded to run at low temperature.
- Solar PV Panels:
- 30kW Solar array mounted to the south-facing side of Inchmacoble.
- Harnesses the power of the sun to generate clean electricity.
- Expected to generate circa 29,000kWh of renewable energy per year, removing approximately 6005kg of CO₂ annually.
- Battery Storage:
- 3 x 13.5kWh battery storage systems, combining to store 40.5kWh of green energy.
- Stores excess energy generated by Solar PV for use during non-sunny periods.
- Ensures a steady and reliable energy supply.
